Your life, your adventure
or when life has no meaning.
Let yourself be carried away on a little mind game. Here's to a thought game that makes you think, shows you a new perspective and maybe even makes you rethink your life.
Part 1:
Let yourself be taken on a little journey. A mind game journey that shows you how you can also look at your life. A trip that might give you a slightly different perspective on your life and who knows, maybe even an impetus to rethink your life.
And thus, welcome to "Your Life, Your Adventure – or When Life Makes No Sense." So often, we ask ourselves why we are in this life and what we are doing here. We genuinely search for the meaning of life. We even spend money to find it. But what if you just let go of all that and simply imagine that your life has no meaning? Yes, that your life is absolutely and truly meaningless! And instead, you imagine that your life is an adventure journey. Experiencing your adventure journey is the only meaning you have. Feel free to close your eyes. Take a moment and let this thought sink in. Repeat to yourself internally, "My life is an adventure journey." Repeat it a few times. Let go of everything that stresses you in your daily life. Release everything you think you should be or do. Just let it go and imagine your life is an adventure journey. So, how does that feel? What does it do to your thoughts, emotions, and body? Feel free to write down what this phrase "My life is my adventure journey" does to you. You can also add to it and say, "and that is the only meaning of my life." Carry this thought with you over the next few days and note down what thoughts come to you, what feelings it triggers, and what it does to you. I wish you a lot of fun with it. Next week, we'll continue with the second part, and I look forward to having you with us again.
Part 2:
It's that time again, let yourself be carried away on your adventure again. Let me take you with me. And get involved in the thought game “Your life, your adventure – or if life has no meaning”. So now imagine again that your life is absolutely meaningless. The only meaning your life has, is to go on an adventure. Close your eyes and feel yourself inside.
You are on your adventure journey. Because that's what your life is. An exciting, thrilling journey where you get to experience a lot. You gather phenomenal experiences. So let go again of everything that currently burdens you in everyday life. Release what doesn't serve you well and tell yourself internally (or you can say it out loud), "My life is my adventure journey." Now ask yourself, how is your adventure journey? Are you having fun on your journey? Does it bring you joy? Are you experiencing great things? Does it make you shine? Do you feel comfortable on your journey? Could you continue it forever and never want to come back? Take the time and immerse yourself in the thought experiment, in your adventure journey. Take your time and also look around in your life. Because if your life is your adventure journey, is it fun for you? Does it bring you the positive energy you wish for in your life? If yes, what exactly brings you joy? If no, what is preventing you from having fun on your journey? Enjoy immersing yourself in these thoughts.
Part 3:
Welcome back to the third part, the thought game “Your life, your adventure – or when life has no meaning”. I hope you are doing well on your adventure trip? Life is truly an adventure. One that is worthwhile and gives you positive energy.
Cause it is only short. If you are lucky, you will have only about 80, perhaps 85 years for it. And you have probably already experienced or even overslept many of them. So those that remain for you should be magnificent. Get ready for another part of "Your Life, Your Adventure – or when Life has no Meaning" and immerse yourself again in your journey. You now know how you feel when you imagine that your life is an adventure. You also know whether it brings you joy. Now the question arises: Are you experiencing your adventure journey with the people you want to share it with? Do you have the right companions on your side? And are your new acquaintances enriching? Take a look around your life. Are there the people with whom you want to experience your adventure journey? Are they good companions? Do you look forward to starting the next day of your journey with them tomorrow? Feel free to take your time to look around again. What kind of people are around you? Are they the ones you would like to continue your journey with? Are you glad to have them with you on your adventure journey?
Part 4:
You've been on your adventure trip for a few days now and I really hope you enjoy it. And even more so that you see your life, not just in your mind, as an adventure trip. Because that's what it's all about. It is your life and therefore your adventure trip.
You have probably already considered well how your journey feels. You've thought about what it would be like if your life were truly an adventure. Whether you find it fantastic. Whether it brings you joy and happiness. You've pondered whether you'd like to continue experiencing it forever and also whether you have the right travel companions, and if your acquaintances are exciting and interesting. Today, I want to direct your thoughts to what is yet to come. To what you still want to experience. So, immerse yourself again in your journey. Imagine it as colorful, lively, and adventurous as you wish. It's your journey, so let your imagination run wild. And when you're fully engaged in this thought experiment, consider what else you want to experience. How do you want to experience it and with whom? What is on your list, what thoughts and images come to your mind? What things are there that you still want to see, experience, and discover? Are there experiences you still want to have? Feel free to close your eyes and fully embrace your adventure. What is missing? And even more, feel into how it feels when you imagine that everything that comes to your mind in this moment is something you can truly experience. You can also write it down; you have enough time, as we'll continue in a week.
Part 5:
Welcome to your adventure journey and welcome back to “Your life, your adventure – or when life has no meaning”. This is now the 5th part of the thought game about the idea of what would happen if your life is absolutely meaningless. And there is only one purpose in your life, and that is to have an adventure.
I hope you've been traveling well so far and have had a chance to consider how it would be if your life were truly an adventure. And of course, I hope you've enjoyed this little thought experiment. Today, I'd like to invite you for a brief coffee break on your journey. Because it's time to reflect on your journey, how it has been so far, and how you envision it for the future. And what better way to do that than by sitting down comfortably with a cup of coffee or tea. Make yourself comfortable and mentally revisit your journey. Feel into it once again. How is your journey? And more importantly, if your life were indeed this adventure, would you book it again? Would you recommend it to your best friends at the end of your journey? Would you consider writing a blog post about it? And if you were to write it, what would be the highlights and lowlights? Would you publish your blog post on social media so that others can benefit, learn, or simply share in your adventure? Take your time, enjoy your coffee or tea, and see how you feel at the thought of recommending your life, your journey, to your best friends.
Part 6:
Welcome to the final part of the series "Your Life, Your Adventure, or When Life Has No Meaning." I'm delighted that you've engaged in this little thought experiment. For me, my life is my journey, my adventure.
It is the purpose of my being and what motivates me every morning to keep going. When I realized for myself that I don't want to chase after a meaning in life, that I don't want to seek it, but rather see my life from the perspective of this little thought experiment – that it is a single adventure journey – it was an incredible liberation for me. In that moment, it felt like tons of baggage that I thought I had to carry fell off me. And my life became unbelievably light. It is my life, and yes, I want to experience adventures, have fun and joy. Have travel companions who make my journey even better and sometimes lead me on new paths. Sometimes paths that I would never have walked alone. And I know that when my adventure journey comes to an end, I want to be able to recommend it. I want to wish to book it again. Because it was simply fantastic, an adventure that I wouldn't want to miss. I hope that you felt the same way in this little thought experiment and that it gave you the impetus to want to experience your future life as an adventure journey. I hope your past adventures were exciting, interesting, thrilling, and wonderful. And that you get to experience many more fantastic adventures on your journey. With great travel companions, with many enlightening and dreamlike experiences. And above all, with a lot of fun, joy, and ease. However, if you have realized that you would definitely not book your journey again. If it is not as you wish it to be. But you don't know how or what to change to make it the adventure journey worth doing. Then seek support. Get the help you need to be able to experience your life in the future as the adventure journey you desire. The one you would book again. Because sometimes, on the journey, you need a tour guide!
