The protection and security of personal data is a top priority at Free-Up. Free-Up is subject to Swiss data protection law, in particular the Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), and any applicable foreign data protection law, such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union (EU). The EU recognises that Swiss data protection law ensures an adequate level of data protection.
In this privacy policy, Free-Up informs you about which data is collected on www.free-up.ch and how it is used. You will also find out how you can check the accuracy of this information and have this data deleted. Please note that this privacy policy may change from time to time.

Please read the following information carefully. By accessing the Free-Up website, you declare that you have understood and accept this privacy policy in its current version. If you do not agree, please refrain from accessing this website.
3. Data transmission / data logging
When you visit www.free-up.ch, certain data is automatically stored for system administration, statistical and security purposes. This includes the name of your internet service provider, your IP address, your approximate location, the version of your browser software, the operating system of the device used to access www.free-up.ch, the date and time of access, the website from which you visit www.free-up.ch, the pages you visit on the Free-Up website and, where applicable, the search terms you used to find the website. Free-Up reserves the right to review the log data retrospectively if there are specific indications of misuse or unlawful use.
4. Use of personal data
Personal data is only collected or processed if you provide it voluntarily, e.g. as part of an enquiry. Unless there are necessary reasons in connection with the processing of a transaction, you can revoke your previously given consent to the storage of your personal data at any time with immediate effect in writing (e.g. by email). Your data will not be passed on to third parties unless there is a corresponding legal basis or an official or court order.

Processing of personal data is necessary to protect the vital interests of the data subject or of another natural person (Art. 6(1)(d) GDPR);
-
Processing of personal data is necessary for the purposes of our legitimate interests or those of a third party, unless these are overridden by the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Free-Up processes personal data for as long as is necessary for the respective purpose or purposes. However, longer retention periods may apply due to legal and other obligations.
Free-Up protects personal data with appropriate physical, electronic and procedural safeguards, including firewalls, personal passwords, and encryption and authentication technologies.
6. Access to, correction and deletion of your data
In accordance with applicable law, you can ask Free-Up in writing at any time whether and which personal data about you is stored. Your request must be accompanied by proof of identity sent to the same address.
You have the right to request information about the processing of your personal data, to have the processing of your personal data restricted, to exercise your right to data portability – provided the GDPR applies in the specific case – to have your personal data corrected, deleted/deactivated or blocked, to withdraw consent given to data processing and to object to the processing of your personal data, unless legal or contractual obligations (in particular retention periods or obligations, or the assertion of legal claims) prevent this.
You can also request the deletion of your data from Free-Up in writing at any time.
Stored data will be deleted by Free-Up when it is no longer needed for the stated purpose and no legal or other obligations prevent deletion.
If you request the deletion of data that is subject to a retention obligation, the data will be blocked in Free-Up's system and used only to fulfil the retention obligations. Once the retention period has expired, your deletion request will be carried out.
Persons whose personal data is processed by Free-Up have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority. The data protection supervisory authority in Switzerland is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
7. Security of your data

8. Cookies
So-called cookies are used to make www.free-up.ch easier to use. Cookies are small pieces of information that your browser temporarily stores on your computer's hard drive and that are required for using www.free-up.ch. The information contained in cookies is used for session management, in particular to improve navigation, and enables a high degree of user-friendliness. The cookies used by Free-Up do not store any personally identifiable information. Most web browsers accept cookies automatically. You can prevent cookies from being installed by changing the settings of your web browser accordingly. This can also be done for third-party cookies. You can remove cookies stored on your computer at any time by deleting your temporary internet files.
Disabling cookies may mean that you cannot use all the functions of the Free-Up website.
9. Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc., USA ("Google").
A web analytics service collects, among other things, data about the website from which a person came to a website (the referrer), which subpages of the website were accessed, and how often and for how long a subpage was viewed. Web analytics is mainly used to optimise a website and to analyse the cost-effectiveness of online advertising.
Google Analytics uses cookies, text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (e.g. browser type/version, operating system used, referrer URL of the previously visited page, IP address, time of the server request) is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. If IP anonymisation is activated on our website, however, your IP address will first be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area.
Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity for website operators and to provide other services relating to website and internet use. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required by law or where third parties process this data on Google's behalf.
You can find more information about the web analytics service on the Google Analytics website.
By using this website, you consent to the processing of data collected about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes described above.
You can prevent cookies from being installed by adjusting your browser software settings accordingly. See "Cookies" above.
In addition, you can prevent the data generated by the Google Analytics cookie about your use of this website from being collected and passed on to and processed by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at this link. If the system you use to access the internet is later deleted, formatted or reinstalled, you will need to reinstall the browser plug-in to deactivate Google Analytics. If the browser plug-in itself is uninstalled or deactivated, it will also need to be reinstalled.
The processing of your personal data by Google Analytics is the responsibility of Google Analytics and is subject to its privacy policy. You can find more information about how Google Analytics handles user data in Google's privacy policy.
10. Use of the internet and email
The Free-Up website is accessed using transport encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the browser's address bar changing from "http://" to "https://" and by the padlock symbol in your browser bar.
Please note that, despite this transport encryption, data transmitted over the internet may be viewed and altered by third parties.
Emails sent to Free-Up GmbH are not encrypted. It therefore cannot be ruled out that the data sent may be viewed or altered by third parties.
Free-Up GmbH accepts no responsibility for the security of your data during transmission over the internet or by email and declines all liability in this regard.
11. Google Maps
Free-Up uses Google Maps to display maps. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Ireland; data may also be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. Cookies are used, among other things, and data such as your IP address is transmitted to Google. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensure an adequate level of data protection for transfers to the USA. Further information can be found in Google's privacy policy.
12. LinkedIn
The Free-Up website contains buttons of the LinkedIn network (provided by LinkedIn Corporation, USA).
LinkedIn is an internet-based social network that enables users, among other things, to connect with existing business contacts and to make new business contacts.
On the Free-Up website, you can recognise the LinkedIn buttons by the LinkedIn logo. The buttons are simply links to the social network's platform or to a specific page of the platform that can be used to share content. This platform is hosted by the social network provider. By clicking the button, you leave the Free-Up website. Only data about content on our website that can be used for sharing is transmitted to the social network provider. Free-Up does not transmit any user data. If you are logged in to LinkedIn, or log in to the social network after clicking the LinkedIn button, the social network can assign your visit to your account. If you are logged in to LinkedIn, you can – if you wish – share the information you have selected with your LinkedIn contacts or send it as a private message. User data may be processed by LinkedIn. The social network's privacy policy therefore applies.
If you do not want this, log out of your LinkedIn account before visiting our website and – if you click a LinkedIn button while visiting the Free-Up website – do not log back in to LinkedIn.
LinkedIn's privacy policy is available at https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy. LinkedIn's cookie policy is available at https://www.linkedin.com/legal/cookie-policy.
